This is the Lodge where I work. Its large, grand, yet rustic. Inside they have a massive fireplace and lots of overstuffed leather couches for people to relax on, a piano. People love to get married here, probably around the gazebo, pictured here. The Lake is an interesting place in that it is bordered by The National Park, which means it is protected by the federal government, the National Forest, which means it is also owned by the federal government, but it can be logged, and by the Quinault Nation, who governs the lake itself, setting the fishing and boating regulations on the lake. Its an interesting combination.

Lake Quinault
Of Lake Quinault, from just outside the house I'm sharing with roommate, Conor. He's a young man from Chicago, line cook, likes to play his ukulele and sing outside. Its his way of howling in the moon.
From Lake Crescent
Coming down the coast with RaAnn. We stopped in Forks so I could buy groceries. The nearest town to Quinault is Aberdeen, an hour away by bus. Its been nice being able to buy my own food.

My last painting
Here at Lake Crescent. I'll be moving down to one of the other lodges at Lake Quinault in a few days. Someone is giving me a ride so I can take my supplies with me.
