This is Marymere Falls, the local waterfall, about a half hour hike from the lodge. The Fall feeds Barnes Creek, the main water source for Lake Crescent, which has risen significantly over the last several days during our heavy rain and windstorms. If this continues, our dock will soon be underwater, trees across the lake appear to be sinking and the beach is quickly receding, which should make for an incredibly green summer next year.
